Oh! it really is difficult learning Chinese ㅠㅠ
Today just focused on learning a few phrases in Chinese some basic vocabulary words and tried to pronounce words but, eh, I think I need a bit more work on the pronunciation of Chinese words ^^ it really is one of the hardest languages ; but the more I learn the easier it will become (:
Next week for me is “Chinese learning week” I just made a week long dedication to study Chinese all of next week :D looking real forward to that (:

Useful phrases
很高興見到你。 – Nice to meet you
你好。- Hello (the only word I know from memory)
嗨！- Hi (assuming this is just a slang term/ or borrowed English word)
早上好。- Good Morning
下午好。 – Good Afternoon
晚上好。- Good Evening
晚安。 – Good Night
你好嗎？ – How are you?

wow!!!!!!!!!You study the Traditional Chinese, don’t you?? Wow, I am learning Mandarin and it is also very hard.
Haha yeah I do ^^ seemed easier than all the other versions ~ but sadly like you said it is killer hard :| dunno which is simpler!!! Chinese is like difficult all round ㅠㅠ
Chinese Grammar is easier than Korean Grammar , but writing Chinese is harder than writing Korean. ^^ However, if we know Chinese, it will become easier to learn Korean. ^^
Really that’s an unusual little fact :D it looks so hard but once you get into it not that difficult ^^ sounds good to me!!! and when it comes to writing Chinese, its a virtual nightmare for me :( I write like a two year old (if that) its just awful and still trying to learn all the characters, but using the Pinyin helps make it less complex, otherwise that writing can be very intimidating to a beginner (like me!!!!) so best lay off it till I’m not afraid of it LOL ; and that’s one of the bonuses for me in attempting to learn Chinese, my Korean will seem less #complex

Here’s another word for you 加油! Its the equivalent of 화이팅 ! Literal meaning is “add” (加) “oil” (油) ㅋㅋ so 加油 in learning Chinese!
Wow! Thanks I’m actually trying to look for words like this (*☻-☻*) but I was not doing well (must be lack of Chinese knowledge LOL) so for I Chinese study I say 「加油」ㅋㅋㅋ

no problems at all :) I’m Singaporean chinese, so we study Chinese (Mandarin) in school as a 2nd language. It’s fun to see the different ways people learn languages too!
and although Korean grammar and Chinese grammar are different, I do find some “similarities” in vocabulary, so I personally do find it useful in understanding some Korean words :)
